Goals of the Summer Coding Program
The Boswin Summer Coding Camp introduces young learners (ages 6 to 9) to the world of programming in a fun and engaging way. By blending creativity with technology, this camp encourages students to explore coding concepts while developing logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Program Structure
Half-Day Primary Coding
Creative Coding Projects: Students will create interactive programs, animations, and games using graphical block-based coding platforms.
Hands-on Learning: Code by integrating graphics, music, sound, and animation into unique projects.
Core Skills Developed:

- Project development and perseverance
- Introduction to computational concepts: conditionals, variables, events, and data types
Half-Day Sports and Activities
The other half of the day features engaging physical activities to balance coding with fun movement:
- Soccer
- Basketball
- Dodgeball
- Fun games and challenges
Instructors & Coaches
Boswin instructors are trained specialists who bring coding and teaching expertise to the classroom. They have completed the Boswin summer training program to ensure an exceptional experience for all campers.

- Students must bring their own device: Laptop, MacBook, iPad, Chromebook, or Android tablet
