This camp gives students the opportunity to take all they have learned from previous level of Lego robots and apply them to various challenges that are given each day. The camp is intended for students who are interested in participating the potential future robotics competition.
This camp challenge them on the following three aspects by simulating the real competition.
a) Robot building. Design, build and program a robot to the challenges that are given.
b) Project The students will work on team project based on the theme given.
c) Team work Lots of team work activities will be involved for students to learn leadership skills and work as a team.
Competitive play will be utilized so at the end of the day they can measure their own progress and the team’s success.
This is one of our prerequisites for entry into a First Lego League team of Boswin in August 2016
• For ages 10-14 • Students should be currently in grade 4-9 • Previous foundation of programming • Students will have to work on a team and are expected to co-operate, share well and have a good work ethic • Children should be self-motivated and mature enough to stay focused on their various TEAM activities as this is not instructional sit-down teaching but children work on their own time schedule to complete the challenges •This camp will prepare for anyone considering to join Boswin Robotics Teams for robotics competition.
